Frequently Asked Questions

  • Classes must be booked in advance using the Scottie’s Pilates website or the Glofox app. Bookings are essential as class sizes are limited.

  • Please cancel at least three (3) hours before the class start time to avoid penalties.

    If you cancel within 3 hours or don’t show up, a fee of $10 applies and your session may be forfeited depending on your membership or pass type.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows are charged a $10 fee and count as a used session for pass holders. This helps keep spots open for those on the waitlist.

  • Yes. Memberships can be suspended for a minimum of 2 weeks and up to 8 consecutive weeks with at least 7 days’ notice. A weekly holding fee applies during suspension.

  • It depends on when you joined:

    • Before 31 August 2025: You can cancel at any time with 7 days’ written notice.

    • On or after 31 August 2025: Memberships are fixed 6-month contracts and can only be cancelled at the end of the term, with 1 month’s notice.

    Memberships cannot be cancelled mid-term unless under exceptional circumstances.

  • Yes, you must be at least 16 years of age to participate in classes at Scottie’s Pilates. Clients between 16 and 18 may need a parent or guardian consent form prior to attending.

  • Your membership is governed by the terms and conditions in the Scottie’s Pilates membership agreement. By joining, you agree to these terms, including payment, booking and cancellation policies.

  • No. Memberships, class passes and class purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

  • Yes, new clients may have access to introductory offers (such as starter passes) with specific validity periods. These are designed to help you begin your Pilates journey with structure.

  • Please disclose any relevant injuries or medical conditions in your discovery call or before class starts. If unsure about suitability for Pilates, consult a healthcare professional.

  • If you are pregnant, we recommend booking a private session or Intro Call before attending group classes.

    While mat Pilates can be highly beneficial during pregnancy, modifications are often required. We need to understand your trimester, movement history and any medical considerations before placing you into a class.

    Medical clearance from your healthcare provider may be required prior to participation.

  • We recommend clearance from your healthcare provider before returning to training. Once cleared, a private session or Intro Call is strongly encouraged so we can assess your readiness and guide you into the most appropriate class structure.
